I have been committed to fitness and healthy living for over a decade, but I have only experienced the true meaning of “fitness” since joining Fitness Together Buckhead.  I am getting married in October, and just as every other bride out there, I have an image in my head of what I want to look like on my wedding day.  A toned and defined upper body is at the top of my list, and with regular weight training I have definitely achieved just that!!  I have done my fair share of endurance training in the past but before now I have never fully embraced weight lighting.  I was always afraid of doing things incorrectly or not knowing what to do at all.  Now, I have learned how to properly incorporate weights and cardio into a full fitness routine, which has provided me with results that were once unimaginable.  I am so pleased with the outcome to date that I can’t imagine what another two months will bring!!  The FT team has done an incredible job of setting my expectations and encouraging me throughout my training and I know I could not have been as committed as I am now without them.  As a result of my training regiment, I have gained confidence and physical and mental strength.  I am loving life!

The older we get, the harder it becomes to stay physically fit. Add a busy schedule, lack of exercise, and everyday stress to the natural process of age and now you really need help!

Fitness Together provided me with an individualized exercise program, a healthy eating menu to enhance my fitness, the privacy of an individual room to exercise, the professional instruction to learn how to safely and effectively use the equipment, and a friendly and supportive atmosphere provided by very caring and knowledgeable trainers.

Although an exercise program of three days a week was recommended, due to my schedule, I have only been able to attend twice a week. Yet, in three months, I have lost 10 pounds and dropped an entire clothing size. My original goals were to get more physically fit and help in reducing stress, both of which I feel are being accomplished - the weight loss is a bonus! My strength has improved, my energy has increased, and I'm soon approaching being in my best shape ever! I plan to continue with Fitness Together and look forward to continued great results!

I was never consistent about an exercise plan-usually about the first of the year I would kick it in and be finished by the first of February. I needed the accountability that Fitness Together provided. Now I look forward to my workouts 3 times a week. I have lost 10 ½ total inches in less than two months and I feel fantastic. I have more energy during the day and sleep better at night. I love knowing that I am doing the right exercises for what I want to accomplish and using the proper form. Lauren and Jason keep me motivated to push harder to achieve my goals. Fitness Together has also helped improve my tennis game. I have more strength and stamina to go those extra sets in a match.
